what is Bending Stamping Parts?
The bending process of bending a stamping part. In this process, force is applied to the metal plate to bend the metal plate to a certain angle and form the desired shape, forming a bent stamping part. The bending can be short or long, depending on Design requirements.
The formation of the bent stampings is carried out by a bending machine, which can be loaded automatically or manually. According to process requirements, we can provide various sizes and lengths of 500T bending machines
The bending machine consists of an upper die (called a punch) and a lower die (called a die), between which sheet metal is placed.
The sheet that needs to be made into a bent stamping part is placed between the two and fixed in place by a stopper. The bending angle depends on how deep the punch presses the sheet into the die. The depth is precisely controlled to achieve the desired bend.
Stamping dies usually use standard tools. In order of increasing strength, tool materials include hardwood, low-carbon steel, tool steel and carbonized steel.
